For 4 years now, ART-O-RAMA, international fair of contemporary art, has been fostering new forms of collaboration with the art world actors. Its participative identity anchors in the support to international galleries and their artists; and it results in the invitation to develop singular and original projects within privileged conditions of reception, collaboration, and co-production.
This voluntarily small format art fair enables each gallery owner, artist, art collector, curator, and journalist to strike up a relationship of quality and value in a stimulating setting.
The Show Room section gathers four young artists working in the Marseille-Provence area whose work is submitted to the gallery owners participating in the fair. One of them being chosen, in the year following their selection, they are offered production grant and a solo booth in the art fair section as well as a monographic catalogue.
Our involvement to galleries and artists is unique in the way it encourages the presentation of original and ambitious projects to the contemporary art world actors — within the art fair duration — and to the public, during the exhibition duration.
